My husband and I transplanted ourselves from Chicago to Louisville in 1981 - and have called it "home" for most of our married life together - almost 38 years. We have two grown children, a son engaged to be married and a daughter in graduate school - we also have one in heaven. I left a career in marketing to be a full time mom and part time volunteer in the late 80's. During this time, I rediscovered my Catholic faith, and became active in parish life and in the pro-life arena. I incorporated in RC in 2005, and served as our section's Economy Coordinator from 2007 to 2015. In 2008, I helped to bring the National 40 Days to Life campaign to Louisville and served as campaign manager for the next 7 campaigns. During this time, I was also serving on Louisville's Pure Fashion team which reached many teens and families with God's message of true beauty during its three year run. JPIIs Theology of the Body captured my heart inspiring study at the TOB Institute and subsequent work with an abstinence initiative sponsored by our local pregnancy center. Still passionate for sharing the message of purity and chastity, I share TOB at any opportunity. Since my biological famiy - parents and 5 siblings - live in 3 distant states, my RC family in Louisville has been a contant source of love and inspiration for me and I look forward to continuing to serve them as I am called and able to do.
