As we come to the last few weeks of this school year, there are some personnel changes that we wanted to let you know about.
In July, Nicolette Chmiel will be departing consecrated life. Her attached letter explains beautifully how our Lord has led her through a path of discernment, and she is very much at peace. We give thanks to God for the years that she followed our Lord with her whole self, and no doubt He will continue to bless and watch over her in the years to come.
In August, after the completion of summer camps in the Ohio Valley, Fr Daniel Brandenburg will be taking on a new responsibility leading the educational apostolate of Regnum Christi in the North American territory. He will also be serving on the Mission Support Team of the territory and the Locality Support Team, which will keep him connected in some way with our area. He will be moving away from Cincinnati, but will keep us all in his heart. God willing, his replacement as Regnum Christi Regional Director for the Ohio Valley will be appointed by the RC Territorial Committee at the beginning of June. Also in June, we hope to communicate the name of the new Legionary priest who will be coming to Cincinnati to take over Fr Daniel’s role in youth work.
We do not foresee any other changes in personnel of the communities of the Legionaries and consecrated women at this time.
Thank you for your prayers for Nicolette and me, and may we all continue to work together to build up the Kingdom of Christ in the Ohio Valley.
