Fr. Thomas Flynn, LC, is one of the newest members of the Legionaries of Christ community for RC Ohio Valley, living in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born and raised in Washington DC. After graduating from high school in 1998, he entered the Novitiate and College of Humanities of the Legion of Christ in Cheshire, CT.  After two years of Novitiate, he made his first profession of vows on September 2, 2000.  Fr. Thomas then spent eight years in Rome and received a Master’s degree in Philosophy as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology.  Upon completing his studies, he was ordained to the priesthood in St. John Lateran Basilica in Rome on December 12, 2011.  His apostolic work has included seminary formation, youth work, chaplain of a school, retreat director and spiritual director.  He is currently the chaplain to the Women’s Regnum Christi Section in the Greater Cincinnati area, as well as chaplain to the Consecrated Women and Assistant Chaplain to the Regnum Christi Men’s Section

 

Anna Mitchell is co-host and producer of the  Son Rise Morning Show on EWTN Radio, a production of Sacred Heart Catholic Radio in Cincinnati.  As a reporter, she announced to the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network the historic resignation of Pope Benedict XVI.  She has also covered the controversial commencement at Notre Dame that honored President Barack Obama, the 2010 Pallium Mass in Rome, the first-ever National Theology of the Body Congress. 

She graduated from Ohio University in 2006 with degrees in Journalism and History. She loves reading, writing, sewing, and watching Ohio State football, Reds baseball, Jeopardy and The Crown. Anna and her husband Will live in Cincinnati with their three children, Roma, Tommy and Freddie.
