Operational Approach

Camp River Ridge is a property maintained, managed, and ready to be rented as a venue by approved, designated groups who primarily exist within the Regnum Christi Family or other RC Apostolates, though not exclusively.  The Camp serves as the main site for Ohio Valley ECYD Youth Retreats and Camps.  ECYD Camps and Retreats, the intended primary youth events to be held at camp, will be directed and managed by the apostolically appointed ECYD Directors.  

Camp River Ridge is to be utilized as a venue.  This is a change from the last several years where youth camps and retreats were marketed and delivered to parishes and other organizations as a direct offering of Camp River Ridge.  Now, services such as meals, paid camp staff, and celebration of Mass and Sacraments are to be organized by those renting the camp property.   

Events held at Camp River Ridge will be staffed and directed by those renting the camp in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the rental contract and policies promulgated by the Catholic Church with respect to safe environment.
