With the new assignments for our priest-sons and considering the recent increase of priestly duties at our parishes and the additional burdens put on our priest-sons due to the lack of new ordinations, I ask a special favor of you. (Attachment below) Would you pray this Seven Sorrow Rosary for our Priest-sons just once during the next 30 days? (If you want to pray it more often, you can.) You could pray one decade a day, one decade a week, or in generosity pray the whole Sorrowful Rosary each week. There is even a special Rosary with beads that accommodate this Sorrowful Rosary. But our God-given fingers will do. Pray this just in the next 30 days (or however long it takes) for our priest-sons. Or continue this as a sacrifice.
These prayers give us an idea of what our Priest-sons go through. Many of them are starting a new assignment and as we all know, change is hard. They have new people to get to know, whether they like the priest or not. They have new jobs to learn. There was one priest (without computer knowledge) who was trying to install a new program on his computer, taking up so much of his precious time. (been there). Our priest-sons are so burdened with so many jobs, that they may find it difficult to minister to us. How can we help them? Prayer is just one avenue of help. Be nice to our priests in our parish.
Our own priest-son may be at a new parish and having difficulties. Help him out with these prayers. Pray for his congregation to be helpful and caring to him, making his transition some easier.
As always, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call me or email a note.
God bless you always.
