My Soul is like a great cathedral where Jesus reigns supreme. Through shards of glass His light escapes me and in my face--He is seen.
My soul is like a great cathedral where grace in shafts of light descends,
And praise and music and prayer like incense heavenward wend.
My soul is like a great cathedral, a home to the whole Body of Christ,
Where saints who've gone before me, accompany me in this life.
My soul is like a great cathedral whose beauty came at a price,
I walk by His side and unite each step to His loving sacrifice.
My soul--though small--is a city set on a hilltop and a light for all to see,
Because my heart is a throne for Christ the King and the Blessed Trinity!
