Every year there are changes in life, jobs, and missions. As previously announced, I will be moving to Calgary to take on a new mission, so there was a need to look for a new regional director for the Movement here in the Ohio Valley. The process for choosing someone for this role includes asking suggestions of people to be considered in the area, having the RC Local Committee review the results gathered from the consultation, and then making a recommendation to the RC Territorial Committee who make the final decision.
The names of several people were put forward as suggestions, showing clearly how many leaders and people with many qualities we have in our area. Of these there were 3 people that received more “votes”, and the one chosen and approved for the mission was the one that most people had suggested. The new local director for Cincinnati and regional director for the Ohio Valley will be Yvonne Nuxoll, one of the Consecrated Women who has been helping in the women’s sections around the region for the past 2 years. This past year, she has been an assistant for myself as RC regional director.
I have full confidence that Yvonne will carry on this role of service to all of you with great dedication, with the support of many talented individuals. Thank you for supporting her in this service. Yvonne’s three year appointment will begin on August 6, given that she will be in Mexico from now until early August for a course for the Consecrated Women.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you these past 4 years. It has been a great joy to get to know so many of you and to contribute in some small way to your growth in our Lord’s love. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our mission in Regnum Christi to form apostles. I will carry all of you in my heart, to Calgary and beyond.
