It's the time of year when new assignments are announced for the Legionaries of Christ and Consecrated communities, and our RC Greater Cincinnati Locality will have two new members in additional to some changes in assignments. The Summer and Fall 2021 were a time of immense blessings for our Cincinnati Legionary community as God gave us the opportunity to serve over 1,000 souls in the various apostolic events of the Summer and Fall.  Camp River Ridge hosted over 750 youth and adults this summer.  Royalmont Academy kicked off another school year.  Our Regnum Christi Men’s and Women’s ministry continued providing spiritual nourishment to our Regnum Christi family throughout the RC Greater Cincinnati Locality... and much, much more. Over the past couple of months, we have announced several changes within our local Legionary of Christ community. Click title to learn more about Fr. Over the past few years, the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi have been discerning the possibility of opening a new community in the North American Territory according to their strategic plan. COVID calls for a greater creativity and adaptability in reaching the youth and family we serve through our ECYD youth work. Jacquie Lustig, Rachel Peach, and Lorianne MacDonnell, with the RC Missionaries- Isabel Losinski and Jeanne Henkel- have been finding ways to accompany the girls involved in Challenge/ECYD in new ways. Click Title for More.

On November 21st, our community had the gift to host Victoria Backstrom’s Final Vows Mass. Victoria has been discerning her vocation with the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi through the formal 8-year process, a journey which was marked with her forever “yes” to God in vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience for life. The Spiritual Directors convention was held at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center November 11-15, 2020, in Norwood, Ohio. It offered spiritual directors a practical and theoretical learning experience of how to give the 19th annotation of spiritual exercises -- spiritual exercises in daily life.
